What we collect

• Information you submit when claiming a square: name/handle, link, tagline, and optional logo image — all of this is displayed publicly by design.
• Payment information: processed entirely by Dodo Payments; we do not store your card details.
• Basic technical data: IP address, browser type for fraud prevention and rate limiting, retained only as long as needed for that purpose.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data to third parties.
• We don't track you across other websites.
• We don't require an account or login, so we hold minimal personal information beyond what you choose to publicly display on your square.

Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies necessary for the checkout flow and to prevent duplicate submissions. No third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention

Publicly displayed square content is retained permanently, consistent with the platform's core promise. Technical/fraud-prevention data is retained only as long as necessary and then deleted.

Your rights

If you'd like a square's non-public metadata removed (not the publicly displayed content itself, which is part of the permanent record), contact us and we'll evaluate the request under applicable law.
