How bidfor.lol operates, slot permanence, and pricing mechanics
How it works
Buy a square for the current price. It's yours forever — nobody can outbid you, and it never expires. When a page fills up completely, it closes permanently and a new page opens at a higher price. Every closed page stays online forever, exactly as it was the moment it sold out.
Why does the price go up?
Because space is running out. Nobody sets the price by hand — it moves in fixed steps as each page fills. Page 1 was $1. It will never be $1 again.
Can I lose my square?
No. Once you've claimed it, it's permanently yours. This isn't an auction — nobody can pay more and take it from you, and it doesn't expire, decay, or need renewal.
What happens after I claim a square?
Your logo, link, or message goes live immediately and stays there for as long as bidfor.lol exists — including after that page sells out and a new one opens.
What can I put in my square?
A name or handle, a short tagline, an optional link, and an optional logo image. Keep it clean — see the Content Policy for what's not allowed.
What can't I post?
- No sexual or explicit content
- No hate speech or harassment
- No scams, phishing links, or malware
- No impersonation of real people or brands you don't represent
- No content promoting illegal activity
Violations are removed at our discretion. See the full Content Policy for details.
Is there a limit to how many pages there will be?
As many as people keep filling. Nobody knows how far this goes.
Can I get a refund?
No. All purchases are final, including if your content is later removed for violating the rules above.
Can I buy more than one square?
Yes — there's no limit on how many squares one person can claim, though we may apply rate limits to prevent automated bulk-buying that would sell out a page unfairly fast.
What if my payment goes through but the square gets claimed by someone else first?
This shouldn't happen — squares are locked the moment someone begins checkout and released automatically if payment isn't completed. If you believe this happened to you anyway, contact us and we'll make it right.
